There he goes again. Paul has repeatedly stated that the law reveals our sins. It holds up a mirror so that we can see our sinful ways. And it also reveals God’s standards for living in harmony with Him and our fellow man. But in and of itself, it does not save us.
But this time, instead of just telling us that the law does not save us, he says that the righteousness of God has been revealed via our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. (Romans 3:21–22)
He is the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6)
He is the Good Shepherd that leads us down the path of righteousness for His names sake. (Psalm 23)
He is the Door through which we enter to receive salvation. (John 10:9)
He is the Light of the World, the One who not only reveals the Father unto us, but also reveals the means unto a holy relationship with the Father. (John 8:12)
He is the One who has come to give us life and to give it to us more abundantly. (John 10:10)
He is the Righteousness of God. (Romans 3:21, Romans 1:16-17)
We did a demonstration during a Sunday Service that puts visuals to this theological truth. Check it out.
Jesus is the Righteousness of God. (Romans 3:21, Romans 1:16-17)
And I don’t know about you, but that is a reason to give Him praise, honor, and glory! A reason to magnify His name!!
As we approach Resurrection Sunday, let’s take a moment and praise Jesus, the Righteousness of God for paying the price for our sins!!!
